Citrus County Street Team

The Citrus County Street Team is a group of prevention partners from several agencies and organizations who are committed to youth prevention in Citrus County.  While focused on teens mainly, the Street Team’s goals are to help educate both children and parents about ways they can stay healthy, happy, and safe.

The Street Team is strictly a collaborative group that formed an alliance to fill a need regarding middle and high school students.  Although the Street Team is not an independent organization, it utilizes the partnerships between the agencies, as well as certain initiatives that these organizations are already implementing.  Street Team members work together on projects such as the Teens Night Out, Unity Day(Bullying Prevention Month), Red Ribbon Week, Prom Promise, Teen Town Hall, and Camp Rise.
